Introduction

The establishment of the university network “Higher Education Policy” (HepNet) in 2009 represented a significant development within the context of the University of Patras’ policy to promote interdisciplinary cooperation.

In 2011, the Network underwent a transformation into an inter-university entity through a collaborative effort with the Universities of the Aegean and the Peloponnese. One of the objectives of the Network was the development of an inter-university, inter-departmental master’s programme. In 2016, the Interuniversity, Interdepartmental Μaster’s Programme “Higher Education Policy: Theory and Praxis” (MaHep) was established (https://hepnet.upatras.gr/diktyo/history/).

 The present iteration of MaHep represents an evolution of the original programme. The programme is divided into two distinct specializations: Strategic Planning – Quality Assurance and Teacher Education. It is an one year, distance education master’s programme (https://mahep.upatras.gr).

Proceedings

All presentations will be included in the electronic volume of proceedings. The final text should be 4,000 words in length, including the bibliography and must be submitted until 31/01/2027.

Following selection, some presentations may be included in a thematic issue of the Academia journal, which is indexed by Scopus, HCÈRES, ERIH+, DOAJ, etc.
